The film starts where `Batman Begins` left off. Life in Gotham City is once again in turmoil. The evil Joker (played by Heath Ledger, RIP) has robbed a bank and made a deal with the city’s chief criminal gang that, if he can get rid of Batman (Christian Bale), he will receive half of the city’s income. However, it is not only the Joker that Batman faces, but worse - ordinary people turned bad. Can Batman save Gotham City from the evil forces that are trying overtake it?
Dark Knight is directed by Christopher Nolan and stars Christian Bale, Heath Ledger, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Aaron Eckhart, Michael Caine, and Cillian Murphy.

Until 17th Aug: `Russian Painting from 18th-1st half of 20th century. Collection from Chelyabinsk Art Museum`
The collection from the Chelyabinsk Art Museum in the Southern Urals area is the 33rd part of the Federal project `Golden Map of Russia`. It is the first time in the museum’s history that its pieces have been exhibited in the capital. In total 68 pieces from 18th – 1st half of 20th century will be on display by artists such as Venetsianov, Perov, Sishkin, Dubovsky, Kramsky, and Shebuev.
